Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect the minimum needed to answer your enquiry and understand how the site is used. We never sell your data and we don't run ad trackers. The enquiry record we store on our infrastructure is automatically deleted after 90 days; a copy also reaches our team so a person can reply, and we keep that only as long as we're helping you. 1. Who is responsible for your data

GreenWeb.AI, an automation and web studio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is the data controller for information collected through greenweb.ai. Contact: team@greenweb.ai.

2. What we collect, and why

Contact form

Name, email, and your message (plus company, WhatsApp number, and topic if you provide them). We use this solely to reply to your enquiry. The copy stored on our infrastructure is held securely and deleted automatically after 90 days. A copy is also delivered to our team (via Telegram) so a person can respond — we keep that only as long as we need it to help you.

Chat with Arlo

The messages you type, with a random session identifier (no account, no name required). Messages are processed by our AI provider to generate replies, and a copy is delivered to our team (via Telegram) so a human can follow up on service quality; we keep that only as long as needed for that. Don't share sensitive personal information in the chat.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This uses cookies. We use it in aggregate only — to make the site better.

Technical & security data

Our infrastructure (Cloudflare) briefly processes IP addresses for security and rate limiting — this protects the chat and form from abuse.

Your preferences

Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us.

3. Who processes your data for us

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores form submissions.
• OpenRouter / AI model providers — generate Arlo's replies from your chat messages.
• Google Analytics — aggregate usage statistics.
• Telegram — delivers a copy of enquiries and chats to our team so a person can respond; these are retained there until we clear them.
• WhatsApp — if you choose to message us there, WhatsApp's own terms apply.
• Content delivery networks (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, Cloudflare cdnjs) — serve the site's fonts and scripts; to deliver those files your browser sends them your IP address.

Beyond the providers and delivery networks listed above, we share your data with no one, and we never sell it.

4. How long we keep it

• Contact-form enquiries (the copy stored on our infrastructure): deleted automatically after 90 days.
• Enquiry & chat copies delivered to our team via Telegram: kept until we clear them, or until our working relationship ends. Ask us any time and we'll delete them.
• Rate-limit counters: a short-lived count keyed to your IP address, expiring within one hour.
• Analytics: per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

5. Your rights

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (and Singapore's PDPA where it applies), you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email team@greenweb.ai and we'll respond within a reasonable time — usually days, not weeks.

6. Cookies

The only cookies on this site come from Google Analytics. You can block them in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out tool — the site works fully without them.

7. Children

This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged clearly on the site.
